In underserved communities, education remains a distant dream for many children. Poverty, lack of resources, and social barriers keep young minds away from classrooms. Some children walk miles to attend school without books or uniforms, while others are forced to drop out and work to support their families.
Rekhant Foundation launched the Education Matters – Empowering Children Through Learning and Opportunity initiative to ensure every child receives the right to learn, grow, and succeed. We provide school supplies, scholarships, and mentorship to first-generation learners. Our mission is to create equal opportunities so that no child’s potential goes wasted due to financial hardship.
Parents working as daily wage laborers or domestic helpers often cannot afford even basic educational costs. For them, every rupee spent on books could mean less food on the table. As a result, children miss out on learning and opportunities that could change their futures. Education support helps families break this generational cycle of poverty.

Your support can light the path to a child’s future:
₹1,000 provides a school kit with books and stationery
₹5,000 supports a student’s education for six months
₹10,000 funds a digital learning center for rural children
Every contribution nurtures curiosity, builds confidence, and opens the door to lifelong opportunity.
We identify children from low-income families and provide essential educational resources. Volunteers organize distribution drives, mentorship sessions, and awareness programs. Schools and community partners help ensure continuity of education. Regular monitoring helps us track attendance, progress, and the long-term impact of the support offered to every beneficiary.
The program supports underprivileged children, first-generation learners, and those at risk of dropping out due to poverty. We especially focus on girls, orphans, and children in rural and slum areas. Our aim is to build confidence, enhance literacy, and encourage continuous education among marginalized groups.
