In a quiet rural village, under the shade of a banyan tree, a group of children gathers every evening. There are no benches, no fancy blackboards — only notebooks, chalk, and the will to learn. This is one of Rekhant Foundation’s small education initiatives, where volunteers teach children who cannot afford formal schooling.
Among them is Kavya, a 9-year-old girl who used to work with her mother in a local field. She had never held a book before, but now she reads stories aloud, her voice steady with confidence. Her progress is not just her own — it’s a spark that has inspired other parents in the village to send their children to learn too.
